Listening for place and sensing telepresence
2017 - 2024
INTIMAL is an immersive and “embodied” telematic environment to listen to our sonic migrations.
Since 2017, the environment has been shaped by these developments:
-
the INTIMAL system of interfaces for relational listening, exploring embodied listening experiences from Colombian migrant women in Europe and incorporating oral archives with testimonies of migration and conflict;
-
the INTIMAL App©, an immersive walkabout telematic listening environment for tuning in while sensing place and telepresence;
-
the INTIMAL co-creation collective of Latin American migrant women.
